The
woman who led our schools to an "F" grade wants to run our elections.
The Office of
Public Instruction oversees teachers licensing, but, according to an
Associated Press report, when a national non-partisan organization gave
Montana mostly failing grades for teacher evaluations and licensing,
McCulloch stated that it's findings did not concern her. Apparently
when someone identifies a problem, Linda McCulloch just doesn't want to
hear it.

While
incumbent Secretary of State Brad Johnson brings real experience from the
real world, Linda McCulloch offers only experience on the public payroll.
Managing business
licensing and filings is an important aspect of the Secretary of State's
office. Incumbent Secretary of State Brad Johnson brings experience
both from the private sector and the public sector. According to her
biography on the Office of Public Instruction website, Linda McCulloch has
been on the public payroll her entire career. Who do you think is
more qualified to continue to expand and streamline the Secretary of
State's business services?

While
Brad Johnson oversaw a giant increase in voter turnout, Linda McCulloch
oversaw an increase in high school dropouts.
The 2006 elections saw
unprecedented voter turnout in Montana, significantly higher than prior
off-year elections in the past. At the same time, Montana saw an
increase in high school dropouts. Who do you think will do the best
job of keeping voters, especially new voters, involved in their government
and voting?

Do Montanans want failing-grade
elections?
Do Montanans want zero business experience in the very office
responsible for filing business information?
Do Montanans want a record of
driving out potential participants?
We answer no, and we believe Montana
will answer the same way.
